Science Fair 2010!

Sierra finished her Science Fair Project last night. She wanted her science project to be fun, so we decided to see if Stride gum would live up to it's claim that it was "The Ridiculously Long-lasting gum" it claims to be when compared to 4 other top-brands of gum.

We had a good time doing it, but it sure was A LOT of work.

Sierra did a great job, it looks awesome, and she learned a lot of new stuff!

My Mom was a HUGE help on this project and she wanted to see a picture of it all finished so I am posting one here!

THANKS MOM!! We LOVE You!!! and I couldn't have done this without you!

And most importantly Sierra was very proud of her work, and Logan gave it TWO THUMBS....sorta up.....

Willy + Logan

I think Logan's relationship with Willy the whale has finally gone too far.

Logan is now having his babies....
and it's probably too early for "the talk....."

On the positive side, because he fell asleep during Lamaze, Logan slept for 3 hours!

Being Pregnant really tuggers you out...especially when it's a 4 ton Orca Calf!

Paul, my Mom and Dad, My sister Erin, and my Brother in law Brock all ran the Houston Half Marathon (13.1 miles) on Sunday!

They all did great!

They ran strong!
They ran proud!

They ran with an EYE OF A TIGER!!!

LOVE YA HONEY! COULDN'T"T BE PROUDER!

P.S. all you Austinites out there..Paul will be running the Austin Half with my Parents on February 14, 2010... and as Logan would say, "YEEAH YEEAH!!"

It's Pretty Awesome!

It's taken me quite a few weeks to post this! I'm very excited but I am also emotional about it too!

A couple of weeks ago my Little Brother Nathan got his Mission call.

We thought he was going to get it while we were visiting for Christmas but he got it a few days after we got home....

it was so exciting to all be gathered around the phone while he opened his packet....

and we are so excited that he will be serving in the Paraguay Asuncion North Mission!

I know that my Brother will be the BEST Missionary that he can be.

I know that he has a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that he will be a sweet gift to the wonderful people of Paraguay!

I LOVE YOU NATE!!!

And frankly, if you can pull off a monocle, I think it's pretty much in the bag that you are going to be one sweet Missionary!

Free Willy!

As previously posted Logan loves Shamu and all Killer Whales.

Knowing this I decided to introduce him to the Movie Trilogy Free Willy. I was never into these movies much as a kid, but my younger brother watched them over and over when he was about Logan's age, and Logan's obsession with the Killer Whale rivals Nate's so I decided to give it a go!

Imagine my joy when I happened to run into Free Willy ( 1) on DVD at Target for $4.97! I bought it, brought it home, popped some popcorn and snuggled in with the kiddos!

It was a hit! Logan loved it! Sierra loved it!

They were thrilled when I informed them that there was a Free Willy 2 and a Free Willy 3!

I began my search for the other movies, finding them for $13.99 a piece at Target.com and amazon.com.

But, wait until you see this!

That's right all three for $10.97. and I thought $4.97 was a deal! Now I'm going to have 2 Free Willy 1's. Don't you love it when that happens, you are so sure you got the BEST DEAL!!! Come to find out for another $5 you could've had two more DVD's!

And, yes! I am sure we will be there when Free Willy 4, starring Bindi Erwin comes out in March!

This is what happens when you have an incident involving a Shamu plush, a "diaper thong", and a slightly upset tummy:a ticked off 3 year old sitting on the washing machine waiting for Shamu/Willy to get done with his "bath."

11 Glorious Years!

In May, 1998 this picture was taken. It is of Paul and I's first date. It was my Senior Prom. We were both nervous and excited! ( hey Nate! This would be a spy FAIL! :) )

It was a fantastic evening!

Apparently!

Because 8 months later we were getting married.....

11 years ago today!

...and things keep getting Sweeter!
