Logan has been very blog worthy of late. You see, Logan is speaking more, and more importantly, he is speaking to other people. To illustrate this point I give you the following conversation Paul had with Logan's Nursery leader yesterday after church!
Logan's Nursery Teacher: Logan spoke to us today!
Paul: Really?
Logan's Nursery Leader: Yes! Three words. We are so excited!
As a side note, Logan has been in this nursery for the last year. He has never before spoken to them. He speaks at home, but never at nursery, and hardly at all if we are not at home. He is known at nursery as the "silent sufferer" and frankly the name fits!
However, after being in several playgroups now, and going to different homes and being around other talking kids and their mom's, I think he is now finally learning that talking has it's benefits...like the following phrase..his new favorite.
"IT'S NOT FAIR, MOM!"
That's right! I can only blame Sierra for this nugget of wisdom that she has imparted to her brother. and everything is NOT FAIR.
His shirt is up his back in his car seat- NOT FAIR
His movie won't come on- NOT FAIR
He has to go to bed- NOT FAIR
He can't put on his shoes- NOT FAIR
He can't put on his shoes- NOT FAIR
He trips- NOT FAIR
His food is hot- NOT FAIR
as you can see there are some context issues but for the most part he has it down pat!
Here's to hoping that he can articulate many more of the unfair things that happen in his life!
